Joey the neighborhood pheasant

Pheasants aren't common birds found in Cincinnati, but man they are all over here in Logan. I admit they are pretty birds, but oh my gosh they are noisy! I remember the first time I heard one I was like, "what was that Vincent?" And then he told me what it was. That was the first of many annoying chirps I would hear. When we moved to our new house we were informed by neighbors that there was a nest of pheasants close by. Some members of the relief society had come by and in the middle of our talk Vincent noticed this pheasant walking down the middle of the road. He was out strutting his stuff, and his walk was rather arrogant. He does this every night around the same time, he heads down the side street, then teasing all the dogs behind the fences. Then he comes back up the street going through the neighbors trash looking for food. Anyway, we have now become used to the our noisy neighbor Joey, and we welcome Joey to come near our front door as he may become dinner some night soon.
