A Heartbeat is a wonderful sound

Sometimes I worry and think, am I still pregnant? I think it's a common fear among women, especially first timers like myself. My last appointment was back in Nov, that is when I found out I was only 6 weeks along. Because of that my doctor decided to wait another 6 weeks before my next appointment. I think that was the longest wait I have ever had to endure. Well this appointment put some of my worries at ease. Sadly, I didn't get another ultrasound like I would have liked, but I got to hear something so amazing and mind blowing. I got to hear my little peanut's heart beating away. I've heard my heart beat before, wasn't that impressed. I even heard a friend's twin baby's heart beats, but it never really sunk in. It's such a wonderful sound and it confirms that everything is going well. Actually, that was the only thing we did at the doctor's office. He did ask me how I was feeling and if I had any questions, but I was fine and had no questions. Now I have to wait another 4 weeks till my next appointment, ugh.
