Tigger no more

So Buster and Tigger have been a part of the Gambill family for over 10 years, and well they are an important part of this family. Well, sadly I must say Tigger is no more. In the eye's of the City of Logan, Tigger doesn't exist. No, he's still alive, but the city decided to change his name!Tigger is now known as Tiggel.
Now the story as to how this has happened.....

Last Thursday I had asked Vincent to walk with me up to the bus stop. In his decision to come, he decided to bring the dogs as well. Now in the rush to get out the door we only had time to grab one leash. Of course that leash is for Tigger, since he doesn't like to listen (of course that can also be that he is partial deaf). Well, only having one leash didn't stop Vincent. He decided Buster could walk up to the bus stop without being on a leash. Now granted the bus stop is less than 1/2 a block away and Buster listens really well, I told him it wasn't a good idea. You ask why it's not a good idea?? Here in Logan, animal control is always out and Thursday was no exception. So as we started to walk up, who did we see turning a corner, you guessed it.....Animal Control. So Vincent quickly put the leash on both dogs, but it was too late. The bus finally arrived and AC had not come back around, so I kissed Vincent goodbye and got on the bus, somewhat relived. It wasn't until I got home from work that I was informed that animal control did stop Vincent. Now since moving here, we hadn't gotten the dog's licensed. Lucky for us they didn't impound the dogs or charge us a fine. Instead, they told Vincent that he had till Tuesday (that would be today) to get the dog's licensed, otherwise they would be impounded and we would be fine $100.00.
So on Monday we took the dogs down to Cache County Humane Society and got the dogs rabies shots. Now when the lady filled out the paperwork she made her rlook like al. I hadn't noticed this at all, why would I? So I then went to the police department and gave them the slips to get the license. After about 10 mins and $12.00 later the woman handed me two pieces of paper with a blue star tag on it. When I got home I went to put the tags on the dogs. Tigger was first, when I looked at his paper I noticed one important detail, he wasn't TIGGER anymore. My puppy, the police department had changed his name to Tiggel. So for the next year, in the eye's of Logan police Tigger is no more.
