A few months ago I realized how cruel people can be to the animals that are used for our food. I don't think we give enough credit to the animals, we assume they are dumb animals that are here for our consumption.
I don't expect to change your mind, but I would like to challenge you to be a vegetarian / vegan for 30 days.
You can make that pledge here https://secure.peta.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=2055
My decision to go Vegan / Vegetarian had very little to do with factory animals, but more to do with health reason. However, in watching these types of videos it really has me thinking, and I will never go back again.
I can proudly say that I will be a parent of a vegan baby, and I will never introduce my child to meat, as it's not needed for survival. I am doing my part to stop cruelty to animals and make a difference in the world, and I feel great about it.
Now, when I walk by the meat in the grocery store it disturbs me. Those animals that we don't give credit to are smarter we think, don't they deserve the best life possible? If you have to eat meat I would beg you to buy range feed meats.
