Back around the beginning of August Vincent decided that it was time to start up his dispatch based business again. At first it was slow going and I even questioned if this was best, but now we are doing pretty well. There are a lot of pros and cons when it comes from working from home, and it's a real juggling act balancing work and home life. For most part my day is pretty flexible. The main things I have to make sure are done: walk the dogs, make sure Kyle is feed and changed, call and schedule work for Vincent and invoice work orders, sweep and mop floors(with dogs that shed this needs to be done everyday!). Depending on what Vincent has scheduled for the day he helps out with a lot of the things, like cooking and looking for work. Some days are harder then others, it all depends on how well behaved Kyle is. I know that I am blessed to have such a good baby, but some days he wants all the attention. The nice thing about working for ourselves is the fact that we can pick our own schedule. If Vincent wants to take a day off so we can spend it together then he can, we can even schedule work based road trips.
Although some days it's harder than others to remember that I have a job to do and not just play mommy, I wouldn't change it for the world.
