So the latest news on the pregnancy front, and other things.

Last Saturday(6/12) I hit 36 weeks, which means I only have 4 weeks left and that I am in the homestretch. I have been more and more exhausted lately and just want to sleep as much as I can. I have also been spending more time in the bathroom again, which kinda sucks when I am at work. Getting up and down, especially out of bed has been a hassle too, but oh well. On Monday I had my 36 week check up, we did our normal blood pressure check and weight(which I lost 4 lbs!) and then we did the strep b test and listened to the heart beat and measured the fundal height. I must say listening to Kyle's heartbeat is one of my favorite things to do. Well also with the 36 week appointment I got to be checked for dilation and effacement, we also did a quick ultrasound just to make sure Kyle was growing the way he should since I haven't gained a lot of weight and lost 4lbs. I am still confused on how I lost weight, considering I have been trying to eat more food. Anyway, Dr. Holmes told me that Kyle was down low (didn't tell me the station) and was head down and weighing in around 5-6lbs. She also told me that I was 70% effaced and 1 cm dilated!! I asked her what the odds are of Kyle coming early, one reason cause I am so active still (although I have taken to relaxing more). She didn't really give me any odds, just that if he was born now everything would be alright.
Well, all this week I have been having braxton hicks contractions, and some have been rather painful. I have noticed they seem to happen when I am doing a lot of walking or work. Oh yeah, walking has become rather bothersome too. I guess cause I get so tired and Kyle is so low already. I have another appointment tomorrow, so I will find out if anything else has changed. I do have my bag packed for the most part and am ready to go if needs be. But Vincent has made it clear that Kyle needs to wait another 2 weeks before he makes his appearance into the world(but it's not up to Vincent).

On to other news...
Yesterday we made a trip out the the Salt Lake at sunset. Even though the area we picked was smelly, the sunset was beautiful. I was in complete awe in the beauty all around me, mountains to my east and west and this giant lake in the middle.

Of course today is Father's Day, so for lunch we went to Taco Bell...not so exciting huh. I wish I could do more for him, but he was happy.

We have decided that the basement room is gonna go unrented for the month of July, since we have family coming out to visit. This will also allow for Savannah to have her own room while she is here, instead of sleeping in our room (with the baby) or on the couch. This will also give us more time to finish all the minor details that need to be taken care of. I still need to put a second coat of paint of the ceiling and there is a spot that I missed on one wall. Also, the two light fixtures aren't working, so we need to figure out whats going on with those.

On the work front....
Vincent is just about done with his training / nesting period. A matter of fact it's over after this week. (One reason why Vincent said Kyle has to wait) After training his new hours will be 7-3 with no lunch break (but two 15 min breaks). This means that he will be home around 3:45 everyday instead of the 4:30-5:00 that he gets home now. Of course this still means 5:30 wake ups.

For me my boss did interviews on Friday and found 2 people that she really liked. I am hoping that they work out cause I really want to start cutting my hours back. Working 9:30-5:30ish has been rough on me, especially when I am not sleeping well and waking up early with Vincent. I am hoping that this week will be my last full week of work (not that 30 hours a week is bad) and that I can catch up on things at home too.

Well, that's all for now. I am gonna go work on my scrapbook for Kyle.
