A very busy first week home (Part 2)

So as I stated before it was very crowded at the Gambill house, with my parents and two nieces here visiting, plus Savannah and the new baby. Because my family was visiting we also stayed very, very busy.

Monday, wasn't as busy and we didn't really go anywhere. I had to take Vincent to work in the morning and then I had an appointment in the afternoon. However, the girls got to get out of the house. I took them up to the Sugar House main downtown area (better known as the shopping district) and they went and saw a movie and hung out and did some shopping. They did this while my parents stayed home with Kyle and I went to my appointment. We all got back around the same time, and then had dinner and had a relaxing evening at home.

Tuesday: I decided on Tuesday that we would go swimming in the Great Salt Lake (okay so where the Bear River meets up with the Salt Lake, better known as Willard Bay) and go to the Air force Museum. But before we could do all that we had to run some errands, my mom needed to go to Micheals and Racheal needed to get a left shoe (she picked up two right shoes). On the way back we stopped and got some Little Ceaser Pizza for lunch and then headed out. The plan was that we would go to the Air Force Museum then drive up and get Vincent from work and then go on to Willard Bay.

Here are some Tuesday Pics: Air Force Museum

Kyle got a little hungry while we were at the Museum.

And then he decided to take a nap!

Next on to the beach!
Having fun in the water, and it sure did feel good!

There were a ton of seagulls hanging around, reminded me of the attack of the birds.
Kyle's getting ready to test the waters.

And in he goes, and no he didn't care for it too much

Resting in his little bed thingy.
Now on to Wednesday!
Again, not much happened on Wednesday, but Vincent my dad and the girls went out for a night at Nickel Mania. (It's an arcade were all games are 5 cents!). Oh yeah I had another appointment that morning.

Thursday:
If I remember correctly Thursday was our Temple Square day, and it was a hot day too!
We parked a few blocks away (as I didn't want to try and find parking downtown, especially in a van that has no power steering)and rode traxs, that was a fun experience with a stroller.
Here are some pics for our trip down to Temple Square....

Such a beautiful Temple, I am still amazed every time I see it

I finally got to eat at the Lion House and man it was good. Roasted Bell Pepper Soup, Rice, Veggies and some kind of Custard for dessert...yummy!!

Maybe some day Savannah can see what it's like to really pull a handcart.

Inside the Tabernacle. (Flat Savannah had been there so we needed to get a pic of the real Savannah)

Inside the Beehive House

Walking around Temple Square

And more walking

And Friday was a pretty relaxing, stay home day cause it was so hot outside!
