After we picked her up we drove around downtown and some other parts of town. It was cool because the Twilight Concert Series was going on, so there was a ton of people. After we showed her Temple Square at night we then made our way to Del Taco!
Anyone who knows us, well Vincent, understand that Del Taco is his favorite taco place. So if you plan on coming to visit with us for an extended period of time, expect a trip to Del Taco at least once. After a late, late dinner at Del Taco we headed home.
Friday, was another semi busy day. After waking Savannah up we had to clean up the house some because my parents were coming into town. And then I had to take Kyle to the doctor for another check up (we had a little jaundice at birth but nothing to be really concerned about). So I took Savannah with me and we walked up to the doctor's office (not as if it is a far walk, but for Savannah I think she was gonna pass out). This was Kyle's first official walk in his new stroller, thanks pawpaw and Vickie. When we got back to the house it was just about time for my parents to arrive and for us to start cooking dinner, if I remember correctly we made stir-fry and it was yummy. As we were cooking and waiting for my parents to arrive we got a wonderful call from the doctor saying that everything was looking good for Kyle and he only needed to sleep on his lighted bed one more night. And then my parents arrived with my nieces, yay they made it safely. That night was one of just relaxing and going through gifts that were brought for Kyle. We like to thank Aunt Amy for the wonderful blanket that she made Kyle (who has been sleeping with it every night) and also Mildred from my parents church for the quilt she made for Kyle. We enjoy them both and they have both gotten lots of use already.
Sis. Bowman from my parent's church also got Kyle some much needed baby essentials and some clothes, so again, Thank you.
We also got lots of gifts from grandma and grandpa, included an awesome bassinet, some little work boots, clothes, bath stuff, my blanket from when I was a baby that my mom had made and my baby book.
Saturday morning started out with a nice home cook breakfast. Apple Flax pancakes and a tofu scramble. We then headed over to the Farmer's Market, and spent some time there and then we just did some driving around.
Sunday was Kyle's first day at church, I couldn't really tell what his reaction was cause he slept through most of it.
After church we had a picnic lunch at Alta Ski Resort up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Devon, Racheal and Savannah had fun playing in the snow that hadn't melted yet. I kept Kyle in the van with me cause it was kinda cool and windy outside. From there we went back home and relaxed for the rest of the evening.
And that is the end of the weekend.
