Digging Deeper into the world of RV living..

Question 1: What to live in, 5th wheel vs. trailer. Newer or older? Gutted and redone to our liking, or one that is pretty much what we need already to go?

So we are still looking into moving into the 5th wheel / trailer. A couple weeks ago we had a chance to go and look at them (which I think I posted about before). We have decided that a bunk house would be nice and ideal, but it's not a major priority as of right now because the babies are still small. We are even tossing around the idea of buying an older one, fixing it up and making it "OUR SPACE".Could you imagine being able to design your dream house? In a way that is what we would be doing, designing our dream mobile house. We have also discovered that the van can tow up to 5500 lbs, so that means we don't need to get a truck (at least for now), just get the van in tip top shape.

Question 2: Where to live:

If you had the ability to travel across America (the US), where would you go and where would you stay?

This is the next question on our list, "Baby, where do you want to go, what do you want to see?" That is a hard question to answer, I mean there are so many awesome places here, how do you decide? One major deciding factor is work. Since Vincent will be the main bread winner in our family we go where the work is in his field. However, we will still have what you may call home bases or home cities. There are a lot of great RV resorts and Campgrounds, even groups that you can join. Now we have to figure out which one to stay at. Things we are looking at is: cost per month or even if they do month to month, what kind of amenities do they offer, are they close to a major city, resorts rules, etc. It's hard and time consuming planning your future, especially one that moves.
