A typical day in my shoes

Being a mom, wife, and full time employee makes life hard sometimes. My typical day starts when Kyle wakes up sometime between 8-10 am (sometimes earlier). If I am lucky I will wake up earlier and actually have some time to myself. Waking up before Kyle is very rare, but it does happen. When he wakes up I change his diaper and get his breakfast ready. He usually eats about a 1/4 - 1/2 cup of cereal / oatmeal mixed with fruit and then drinks a 4-6oz bottle of formula. Then we kinda hang out and play or watch PBS Kids Sprout or Baby FirstTV. If we have errands to run we do them. I also manage to eat during that time, possibly get some dishes done or the house kinda cleaned up. After about being awake for about an hour or hour and half (depends on how awake he is) he may go back to sleep if I am lucky. Usually he stays awake till just about time for me to leave for work. My work schedule can change weekly, but typically I am scheduled at 12 pm. Because of this I have to leave at around 11:30. I am so happy that Vincent works for himself now, because it allows him to have a flexible schedule and spend time with Kyle. If things are really conflicting we get a babysitter for Kyle, but usually Vincent has him while I am at work.
I typically get home between 8:45-9:00. This because I work till 8:30, and as soon as I walk in that door it's like all my stress melts away. When I get home Kyle is still awake and I get to feed him one last time before he goes to bed. One of my favorite things to do is lay in my bed with Kyle and let him fall asleep in my arms. It makes all the bad of the day go away.
I can't say that I like working full time, actually I miss being at home. But sometimes we have to do things to survive. I am hoping that after Sariah is born that I can get down to part time hours so I have more time at home. I wish all the full time moms and working moms the best of luck, cause I know just how hard it is.
